--------------------

Holly Seidcheck is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was here that she completed her extensive dance training, which would lead her to choreograph, dance, and create all around the world. Her physical training was the catalyst of her exploration of the arts, and her vehicle to the theater.

She graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelors of Arts in Theater, and Minors in Dance and Leadership. On top of awards such as best director, best actor and the like, Seidcheck was selected as Outstanding Undergraduate Student in Performing Arts of 2019. It was at University that she really got to hone her craft(s) and create meaningful work. She choreographed original full-length dance shows, was commissioned by galleries and artists around the state for site-specific works, and acted in extensive productions; those of note being Estragon in Waiting for Godot, Fraulein Kost in Cabaret, and Hippolita in ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, to name a few.

As part of her notable studies, she was trained in auditory theater under members of The Public Theatre, learned puppeteering from members of Manual Cinema, and was cast as Victor Frankenstein in their original production of Frankenstein. Creating devised theater became an overarching passion of hers, and she continues to create original work today. Recent devised works include “Sunboxes” and “Awash”; both serve as sound-art movement installations/explorations.

These days, in sunny Southern California, Seidcheck has been seen as Stella in Costa Mesa Playhouse’s A Streetcar Named Desire, onstage at UCLA, and starring in various immersive theater projects around Los Angeles.
